The Michigan Denture Reform Committee (MDRC) has impacted the awareness of Michigan’s denture crisis by announcing the new release and availability of Dr. Everett Van den Eeden’s in depth health publication, Denturists – The Solution to America’s Denture Crisis, the first piece of work that has thoroughly and accurately addressed America’s denture crisis.

The revealing 160-page book was released Wednesday, May 16, 2007 along with the MDRC’s Denture Crisis Public Announcement to the state of Michigan. The ceremony was initiated by presenting the first autographed publication to Governor Jennifer Granholm and was followed by a 10:00 A.M. Denture Crisis Announcement on the State Capital steps in Lansing, Michigan. The announcement and release ceremony were directly followed by the delivery of the book, accompanying a transcript of the denture crisis public announcement to each of Michigan’s state representatives.

The author of this one of a kind book, Everett Van den Eeden, DDM, CD, CDT, is a nationally recognized denturist leader who has been instrumental for twenty-five years in helping America’s 45 million denture wearers, on both state and national levels, to obtain freedom of choice to receive denture care from denturists (denture specialists).

The book begins by illustrating the deterioration of the true art of denture practice and the intensity of effects that this lost art has on our populations over forty-five million denture wearers.
