Quality was again next in frequency, cited by 59% of the writers. 25% of all the writers stated that they had been dissatisfied with the dentures they had previously obtained from one or more dentists, but were very comfortable with the ones fitted by a denturist. Other reasons for satisfaction with the denturist's services were guarantee of work and willingness to make adjustments (27%); fast service or receiving the dentures within a few days after the initial appointment (18%); and short or no waiting time for appointments (24%).

Thus, it would appear that a substantial number of consumers, many of who could not have afforded dentists' fees and would otherwise have been forced to forego any denture care, are currently obtaining dentures from denturists at greatly reduced prices. Further, consumers express considerable satisfaction with the services they have received; indeed, some who have willing and able to pay the fees charged by dentists, and have turned to denturists only after dissatisfaction with the services they received, express greater satisfaction with the denturists' services.
